Unnayan O Shikkha Proshar Trust (USPT) is a growing non-government organization (NGO) that works to transform the lives of disadvantaged children, their families and communities by providing quality education. Mainly, USPT works with basic education for children living in the urban slums of Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Trust (USPT) was formed on 17 January 2012, since then USPT has been providing education, health care and raising social awareness amongst disadvantaged poor children in the community. Unnayan O Shikkha Proshar Trust (USPT) received its registration under the NGO Affairs Bureau in 09 January 2017 and its Registration No. is 3079.  NGO Bureau registration has been renewed till 2032. At present, USPT has been working in partnership with BanglaKids a German based organization. USPT operates non-formal schools through its project ‘SHIBASH’ in the slums of the Mirpur area of Dhaka to create child friendly education that can help make children’s dreams come true.
